How to Use Your Health as a Weapon to Fight Your Economic Crisis

As the American economy is sinking into a historic depth so are jobs lost and people find it hard to meet basic needs such as groceries, medication, heating/gas bills. Spending adjustments becomes very difficult to deal with.

Most people do not even know where to start...I have some great ideas to help you.

Medical bills are the big elephant in the house, and to be fair a third of what a middle class American earns goes on medical bills. This is outrageous!

The truth of the matter is if you embrace an artificial lifestyle, you simply wedge a war against your health. Because your entire being will begin to absorb and store things that are not intended for its nature; the result is illness, stress, fatigue and lots more.

I strongly believe that if you can make an effort to understand your nature, what you need to stay healthy, medical bills will stop coming in your mailbox sooner or later. There is nothing better than being in good health and having a prolonged life.

This website and my e-book covers details how you can find good health and eliminate or drastically cut medical bills by simply modifying a few things in your life.

Imagine a Life FREE of Pre-Diabetic Worries

Once you learn the information in my e-book titled “Cracking Your Pre-Diabetes Code” you will be armed with a truly holistic (mind, body & spirit) approach to doing just that! How to order your copy  Here's the reason you are currently having SO many challenges:

A Giant Pile Of Mis-Information

I was amazed at the amount of information available…especially once my father was diagnosed with Type II diabetes. Unfortunately, over-information and mis-information were a big part of the problem. One doctor recommended a certain type of drug… while other doctors recommended a different type… while still others spoke out against drugs all together.

There was a sea of diet charts, food graphs and medical manuals. Does this sound familiar?  Are you tempted to give up?

After meeting with dozens of patients who had successfully beaten diabetes, some patterns began to emerge.

Allow me to help you determine the information that will make a difference.

Diabetes Myths

Myth #1. You can catch Diabetes from someone else

Although we are unsure exactly why some people develop one of the various forms of Diabetes, we know the condition is not contagious. It can't be caught like a cold or flu, but there can be a genetic link in Diabetes, particularly the Type 2 variety.  Download and read my first chapter for free for a great explaination of how disease develops:  click here

Insulin Resistance leading to obesity may also be a major factor in reversible Pre-Diabetes, which, if left unchecked, can lead to irreversible, full-blown Type 2 Diabetes. A sedentary lifestyle and poor diet can also play a key role in the onset of Pre-Diabetes.

Myth #2.  Simply Eating too much sugar causes  Diabetes

Diabetes is caused by a combination of genetic and lifestyle factors. However, being overweight and consuming excessive amounts of the wrong carbohydrates does increase your risk for developing reversible Pre-Diabetes, which, if neglected, can develop into irreversible Type 2 Diabetes.

If you have a history of Diabetes in your family, it's recommended that you manage your weight by eating healthy, low-glycemic, low insulin meals and getting regular movement.  Learn what does cause disease by downloading the 1st chapter to my e-book for free.

Myth #3. People with Diabetes should eat special Diabetic foods

A healthy meal plan for people with one of the various forms of Diabetes is the same as that for everyone - low in fat (especially saturated and trans fat), low in specific carbohydrates, moderate in salt and sugar - meals that have an emphasis on vegetables and fruit. Diabetic and "dietetic" versions of foods containing sugar offer no special benefit. They still raise blood glucose levels, are highly processed, are usually more expensive and can also have a laxative effect if they contain sugar alcohols.

Myth #4. People with Diabetes are more likely to get colds

You are no more likely to get a cold if you have Diabetes. The American Diabetes Association, does, however recommend that Diabetics get a flu shot...however, this is subject to debate.

Myth #5. Insulin causes weight gain and, because obesity is bad for you, insulin should not be taken

Excess insulin in the blood stream caused by Insulin Resistance can be a factor in weight gain. But, for someone at risk of reversible Pre-Diabetes leading to irreversible Type 2 Diabetes, the goal is to control blood sugar levels. If this can't be achieved with diet and exercise, extra insulin may be a requirement if Type 2 develops.

Myth #6. Fruit is a healthy food. Therefore, it is OK to eat as much of it as you wish

Fruit is healthy because it contains fiber and lots of vitamins, antioxidants and minerals. However, some fruits also contain carbohydrate levels that are high on the Glycemic Index (GI). This means that your insulin requirement will be increased.

For a person at risk of Pre-Diabetes turning into Type 2 Diabetes, the goal is to keep insulin requirements as low as possible. This can be accomplished by eating fruits sparingly and avoiding those with the highest glycemic content (e.g. pineapple, bananas) and finding lower glycemic fruits (e.g. blueberries and strawberries). Because fruit contains essential carbohydrates, it needs to be included in your meal plan.

The third chapter of my e-book covers frequency and types of fruit you should eat.

Myth #7. You don't need to change your Diabetes regimen unless your HbA1c blood glucose test is greater than 8%

The better your glucose control, the less likely you are to develop complications of Diabetes. The HbA1c hyperglycemia test confirms how your blood sugar control has been for the past 120 days. The higher your blood sugar levels, the higher your HbA1c - the lower your blood sugar levels, the lower your HbA1c.

A HbA1c in the 7% range does not represent good controls; the goal should be is less than 7%. The closer your HbA1c is to the normal range (less than 6%), the lower your chances of complications.

By holistically adopting life style changes addressed in my e-book...your HbA1c level will definitely benefit.

Myth #8. All Diabetics use insulin

Pre-Diabetics do not use insulin and not all people with full-blown forms of Diabetes like irreversible Type 2 are required to use insulin if they are eating the right foods. Diabetics of every kind can eat a wide variety of food of the right type. Foods to be avoided are high glycemic index (GI) foods.

Foods to be included in the diet of a Type 2 Diabetic include protein, green vegetables, good fats and some fruits. Exercise increases muscle disposal of glucose which keeps the blood sugar levels much lower. Combining proper food groups and regular exercise will help you maintain your blood sugar without the use of insulin.

Myth #9. Fat should be avoided by Pre-Diabetics

Fats can be placed in two categories: bad and good. The bad fats include hydrogenated fats, which are also called trans-fatty aids:; these are solid at room temperature, like margarine and Crisco.

The good fats are monosaturated or polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are found in olive oil, avocados, nuts, fish, olives and eggs. These fats actually increase your use of insulin and are recommended. Their benefits include better blood control by signaling to your brain that you are satisfied after a meal.

Myth #10. Pre-Diabetes cannot be reversed with all natural ingredients

People at risk from reversible Pre-Diabetes can control their blood sugar with diet and exercise, together with elements such as chromium and vanadium. These minerals increase sensitivity to insulin, while other nutrients can boost the pancreas to produce more insulin.

Using nutraceuticals to reverse Pre-Diabetes requires vigilance about avoiding food that cause spikes in blood sugar, such as the bad carbohydrates. Care should be taken to consume appropriate nutrients and get regular exercise to reduce weight.

What Causes Pre-Diabetes (or any Disease for That Matter)

So you have been given the diagnosis of pre diabetes and I will bet you are wondering how you got to this point in your health. The traditional medical community would lead us to believe that disease is somehow “caught” or possibly it is the “luck of the draw” or “it’s all your fault”.

Trust me it is not your fault…you have just been given the wrong information up until now.

I would like to give you a much better explanation of how you got where you are currently. A Naturopathic Physician from California by the name of Chris Morris who has authored a pamphlet titled “The True Nature of Healing”. In the first chapter of my e-book “Cracking Your Pre-Diabetes Code” (which you may download for FREE) I explain this for you.

While reading my first chapter, you also will be given an outline of what information you will learn in subsequent chapters to affect changes in your life to make a difference in you current health situation and how to crack your pre-diabetes code.

(By the way, if you are reading this and already have a diabetes diagnosis click here.)

Once you have purchased my e-book and are ready to move forward and make some significant changes, you will learn the next steps to take: How to Order

Insulin Resistance - What is it?

Insulin Resistance has many factors that contribute to its presence in the body. In essence, our environment and lifestyles have evolved too rapidly for our bodies to keep pace. We are still genetically "wired" to thrive on the entrenched habits of our ancestors who consumed different, nutrient-rich foods, ate a diet low in carbohydrates and also sustained greater levels of movement and exercise.

Some people may also have a genetic predisposition to Insulin Resistance. Others develop Insulin Resistance through unhealthy lifestyles.

Another factor may be inflammation, which is part of the body's defense mechanism.

The end result is the same, however, - an imbalance of glucose and insulin in the bloodstream, which impairs the vital processing of glucose into energy via insulin sensitivity of the cells of your body. The consequent excess of glucose and insulin may lead to a variety of disorders.

Fortunately, Insulin Resistance can be reversed. But, if left unchecked, it may lead to Pre-Diabetes.

If this latter condition is left unchecked, it can lead to Type 2 Diabetes, which can only be managed for the rest of a Diabetic's life in the majority of cases and may require daily injections of insulin. Type 2 Diabetes, itself, is a seriously increased risk factor for blindness, heart and kidney disease and the need for amputation.

Insulin Resistance can also result in the cluster of increased risk factors for cardiovascular disease called Metabolic Syndrome (Syndrome X) and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), a leading source of menstrual irregularity and infertility, as well as skin conditions like acne, excess body and facial hair and female baldness.

I’m not here to attack any drug in particular or any company by name. But I’m constantly amazed that no one is talking about beating diabetes simply by making some easy alterations to the foods you’re already eating.

No one ever talks about “beating diabetes”, everyone seems to be content with finding ways to “control diabetes” or “live with diabetes”. And for good reason.

Listen, if somebody showed you how to beat diabetes… they wouldn’t make very much money off of you. But if somebody invents a pill or a shot that helps you live with diabetes… they’ll get your money week-after-week, month-after-month, year-after-year until the day you die.

In fact, there’s a saying in the industry that…

Building Wellness Kill Profits!

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to have to depend on some big drug company to keep me alive and comfortable just so I can give them more of my hard-earned money every month.

I’d much rather take control of my own health and find a way to banish diabetes. If you feel the same way, then I have a special offer for you.

You see, I used my husband as a guinea pig to discover what works in the fight against diabetes… and what doesn’t.

After banishing his diabetes for good, I wrote down the exact step-by-step plan we used to fight diabetes and win.
